Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 4D Fun Inc. ("4D Fun," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our applications, games, immersive experiences, websites, and related services, including Scenez XR for Meta Quest (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Process
Depending on the features you use, our Services may process limited information needed to operate the experience. This may include:
- Platform and account information: identifiers or profile information made available through Meta Quest platform features when those features are enabled and authorized.
- Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, diagnostics, crash information, and similar technical data used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Services.
- Usage information: interactions with app features, content selections, session activity, and performance information.
- Information you choose to provide: information contained in support requests or other communications you send to us.
Scenez XR does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless a feature clearly requires it and the collection is disclosed to you.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Services, deliver requested features and content, authenticate or support platform functionality, improve performance and reliability, diagnose technical problems, respond to support requests, prevent abuse or security incidents, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Meta Quest and Platform Data
Scenez XR may use Meta Quest platform services or SDK features. Information made available through those features is processed only for the purposes needed to provide the applicable Scenez XR functionality and in accordance with applicable Meta developer requirements. Meta may separately process information under its own terms and privacy practices.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that help us host, operate, secure, analyze, or support the Services, subject to appropriate obligations; when you direct or authorize us to do so; or when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, our Services, or our legal rights.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the Services, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal obligations. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable.
6. Data Deletion Requests
All users may request deletion of personal data collected or stored by 4D Fun Inc. at no charge. Email Paul@4dfun.io with the subject “Scenez XR Data Deletion Request”. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or data. We may need to verify your request before deleting information. We will delete eligible data from our active systems and instruct applicable service providers as appropriate, except where retention is required by law, needed for security or fraud prevention, or otherwise legally permitted.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children
Our handling of information is subject to applicable age requirements and platform rules. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
9. International Users
Our Services may be available in multiple countries. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate, subject to applicable legal requirements.
